really, nothing is reliable. You add risk of engine problems with anything you add on to the car. It matter how well the build is done and how you drive your car. But why not go both?

yeah, i think i'll keep saving my money and get a good ls/vtec, because the kid who i was going to buy the nitrous wrecked his car and then blew it up......now i'm thinking of the nitrousas sort of a "bad omen" plus the kid is a dumb ass.

ls/vtec is a great motor when built properly. it may be the most expensive route, but i would just buy a gsr motor(no tranny) and build it on your own time. or save and take it to a reputable shop and have it built right. na or turbo, you're better off building a STRONG, reliable motor from the beginning. so many people spend a little bit of cash and make some good power, but it never turns out reliable. spend the cash and build something right.
