Default integra check

hey I'm bout to purchase this 94 integra LS and I need it checked out by a mechanic - the dealer is booked until next week - anybody recommend a mechanic for me? I was hoping to get a basic safety check plus a compression check on the motor...HELP!!

Booked!? Most places offer FREE inspections. Take it for a test drive. Shit take it tire kingdom if you have to. Your only getting a free inspection I don't see how they could fuck up something like that. Go out there with them and look it over yourself but make sure its ok first dont just walk in the shop. I know that use to piss me off all the time when I worked there.

A compression test is simple. Here is a link showing you step by step. You will need a compression tester of course.

I'm not buying the car from the dealership - i just need a good shop to do the inspection for me - i wanna put it up in the air check out the suspension, check for leaks - i just moved here, live in an apartment complex, and don't have the time to do any of it myself - if i was back home and had my garage, my lift, and my compressor - it'd be all good - but, unfortunately i dont have any access to these things - any suggestions other than do it myself?
