Default Problem with dizzy and timing, help!!

I just got my v-tec hooked up on my b16 in the DA and when i got the car back i drove down the block and it died. Jason (who does my motor work) said the dizzy bearing was shot and prolly would go out and did. he put and another dizzy on and fixed the timing cuz it knocked the timing off by 4 degrees. anyways, it was running fine and then the car started misfiring and dying on me and now it wont start again. Jason said it is the igniter and some other things. Any ideas on what it could be, i need my car to be up soon. thanks.

Get a dizzy that you know works & install it.

If that resolves the issue, try sticking a new coil in your dizzy.

Get your money back for that second distributor and either buy a brand new distributor from like distributor king or OE or convert to OBD1 to get away from those horrible OBD0 distributors.

And look at your valve colver and confirm the "v-tec" spelling.
