Default what is the difference?

what is the difference between the type r piston and the usdm ? and if you get a civic r piston to fit your 1.8 you would get the .25mm oversize right ?

JDM pistons generally create more compression
You do not have to go .25 over if you install pistons in your block, it is only recommended if your motor has a lot of milage or has abnormal wear or scaring on the cylinder walls.

ITR pistons come in both usdm and jdm. the jdm version will yield about a half a point higher in compression. ctr pistons hev an even larger dome in them and will yield about a whole point higher than jdm itr pistons. going .25 over is entirely dependent on the condition of the block and the personal preference of the builder

Don't waste your money on pistons unless your going with a vtec head.

Save your money & build a nice turbo kit & make awsome power

If you don't do stupid shit like rig your downpipe & it's hardware bolts etc, turbo is extremely reliable as long as its tuned properly & you don't beat the living shit out of it all the time.
