has anybody put a half civic radiator in a crx before?

if so can you tell me what it took to get it into the car. did the lower crossmember have to be notched or cut out of the way?

any information would be great.

I HAD TO CUT CROSSMEMBER FOR MY CRX.

 

about a 1/2 to 3/4" notch the width of the radiator cut into the cross member, and notch some of the cross supports for the hood to shut. that's if you want it to stand straight up, alot of people lean it to make it clear but to me that's ghetto. a dremel w/ a cutoff disc will make short work of the hood and a sawzall or jig for the cross member.

 

sounds like it would be much easier for me to just go with the front crossmember so i dont have to go hacking away at my car. it may cost me some money but hopefully it will look clean when it is done.
