Default ~Rack 'n Pinion boot broke~

should i ride it out until it breaks, or should i replace the entire unit for $280.00? no one makes a damn boot for it...so they are forcing me to replace it sumtime in the future...damn bit*hes Plez, input me any tipz or ideas to prevent me from spending $280

why dont they make a boot for it? You can buy them just about anywhere. Just ask for steering rack bellow.

ohhhh...i had sumthing like that in mind, but wasnt sure if its gonna work...but since most boots cost $13.00, y not give it a try. Thanx

you buy a universal one at autozone for 12.99 and you cut it to size i bought a whole r&p for my 89 hatchback and it did not come with it you have to buy a universal or go to honda and spend 39bucks i would replace your inners and outter rods also i did it makes it alot tighter
