Default need help w/ GSR

this may be the dumbest question you've read this month... so here goes

If my dist went out in my 95 GSR do I have to replace it with the exact part? Is it possible that I get another year gsr dist or even another teg?

any '92-95 GSR/b16 distributors will work.

actually any 94-01 should work. But just for arguments sake try to keep it OBD I which means 94-95
