Default oil, anything new?

ok I know there is much debate on the topic and I have asked before, but that was at least 6 months ago so I wanted to see if anything new or bad has come up since.

turbo jdm b16, hondata, 10psi, daily driver. what oil?

some say dino 15w 50, while others say synthetic. what do you run and what problems happen if any, I.E. more leaking with synthetic.

please only useful responses. I am asking again because I am 4 hours of tuning, 1 hour of welding, 2 hours of flange fabrication, and 8-16 hours of bolting on the whole system. in other words 2-3 weeks.

the synthetic doesn't "find" more leaks than dino? or does the thicker oil counterbalance the synthetic side of it?
