Swapping a B16 into an EF?
Will I have to use a B16A1 w/ the cable tranny, or can I op for the JDM B16A2/SiR2 w/10 extra horses stock? Which one is easier, what woud be the benefits of using, either? Will I need anything extra, other than the cable/hydro tranny, ecu, and axles?
Any help will be appreciated.

How hard would it be to swap a B18C1 in there?
your going to need to get mounts and possibly a coversion kit for the tranny depending on which one you use its not really a hard swap though It may also require some rewiring depending on which obd 0 or 1 versions you are using

So, if I use the B16A1 I won't need a conversion kit for the tranny, butif I use the B16A2 or B18C1, then I'll need a conversion kit, but it shouldn't be that difficult or expensive? And I can only go OBD-0 or OBD-1, I can't go OBD-2?

B16A1 with cable tranny = no conversioin
2nd/3rd gen b16 = hydro conversion kit + new wiring for OBD of new motor
best bet = stay with the OBD 0 motor and run a OBD1 ecu for tuning purposes.
when you start mixing and matching OBD parts, it gets confusing
and by the way...EF look like ass

The best engine in the world is the vagina, it takes any size piston, its self lubricating, starts with 1 finger, and every 4 weeks does its own oil change. It's just a pity the management system is so fucking temperamental.
you can use any of those motors with a cable tranny so you dont have to get a kit your car is obd0 so just stay with that and use a obd0 ecu dizzy and injectors only wiring you would have to do then is dual point to multi point and 4 vtec wires witch is easy as hell its a real basic swap

And you will need a mount kit and shift linkage.....here is a great one for a good price.

Heheh, everything you posted was what I was thinking, I was just trying to make sure, I didn't get anything wrong. Thanks anyway. Don't worry about the looks, that's basically jusgt a matter of opinion, not fact, and I have a few ideas in mind. Maybe it'll just be a drag/track car. Who knows? Or maybe I'll do something like this.----> http://www.dubfusion.com/sema_2004/images/DSC00667.jpg
