I worked for honda and know you stress ! I was a wrencher and hated waiting on parts ! Even in the shop we got the BS. Id be working on one of my cars and goto grab a part and theyd say umm iunno lemme check OH Wait we have to Special order that ! or try and charge me an arm and a leg ! its like hello i fucking work here !

 

I use Andy at Autoway Honda. He does a great job but forgets to order things sometimes for me.

 

i use len from Honda-tech. gets here fast. sorry to here that Bert-o, maybe its time for a new profession...

 

i feel you man....... some people can be retarded at the parts counter.....i worked for advance discount auto for 6 yrs and managed a store, so i've had my share of retards....kinda annoying when all the customers only want to come to you bc you're the only one that knows what you're talkin about, while your employees are just standing there w/thier thumb up thier ass bc they cant help anyone..........if i need something from the dealer, i see David or Butch at Ferman Acura on Florida Ave bc they seem to know what they're talking about and i get good prices from them cuz ive spent a crapload of $$ there!

 

wow i do all my shopping at hondaland i was just there but most of the time when i need small parts like today i had to go over to acura cause hondaland did not have my oil gasket im not very happy with lindell thay jacked me over for 310bucks on parts 2years ago

 

lol, I know Andy. Most of the people that ask for an alternative would be Autoway Honda. Crown Honda are easy guys to work with.

Crown Acura have cooler guys, as long you don't ask dumb question, like, "i need a JDM oil filter" shit like that!

 

well, the shop/service is where the money is at! Cause prices are at MSRP or whatever price is set. But phone calls are shoppers. Wholesales is 25% off. So you know where I stand. Techs get pay by the job, if the job is done right and a good fast pace. The tech brings in the next car, hence more $$$ for everyone.
