The insert in the SSQ just gives it a deeper, not so canaryish tone....

I just hate the sound of the type S... I had one and it got so annoying after a while... and anything over about 20psi, it starts to leak.....

The type S doesnt leak above 20. DSMers use it upwards of 26psi all the time. I just hate the sound. Not that my SSQV is much better, but I do like it more.

Tial, HKS* those are all I will use.

The standard spring in the type S is rated to 25 psi according to greddy, they also have a 30, 35, and I believe a 40 psi spring upgrade for it, although, I think for anyone running that much boost, that valve is just simply too small to release enough pressure...

But keep in mind Jeff, these DSMers you are talkin about running 26psi on these, are probably also only using a 16g or something comparable...
