i have a y7 with dpfi right now. i have a a6 head with IM laying around. im thinking bout going this route;

a6 head
y7 block
y8 oem headgasket
p29 pistons
intake
header
2.25" header back exhuast with no cat
zex 59300 cam
aem car gear
possible wet 55shot

compression will be at 11:6

i was thinking bout getting a LS, but i decided to stay singlecam because its cheaper and different. what kinda power should i get from that without spray?

p.s no comments about dohc or vtaK please.

 

i had z6 sohc it made 125hp 115 tq @ the wheels on the dyno
if u put nos on it say good by 2 your rings speaking from experiece..................

 

what all parts do i need exactly doing this swap? dizzy, harness etc

i will someday put in a si tranny to rid of my dx tranny ;x

one reason why i want a small shot is to make it not unreliable unlike having a big shot
