decoding the precison sc61...
can anyone here decode the etching on precision turbos. this is an etching off an sc61: 6169E

The 6169E indicates what CHRA is used.

CHRA - center housing rotating assembly
The CHRA includes a complete turbocharger minus the compressor and turbine housings.
You have a Precision SC61 with an E compressor cover (.60 A/R) with a 69 trim (T31) turbine wheel. Precision only sells SC61's with a T350 76 trim turbine wheel now.

ok so this turbo will have a slight advantage of spool up on the newer sc61's w/ the .63 A/R, but will lack on the volume of air the turbo is capable of flowing. Thanks for your help Alpha.
