Swap a engine
Im looking to buy a 99 civic si with engine problems.. basically it needs a new engine..but all other things about the car are fine. Where can i get a nice engine? Any1 know?

what kind of engine do you want the stock one or somthing different?

i want the stock d16y whatever.. because it was originally with that motor... its not a true si.. but i was wondering what kind of engine i can put on the stock d16 transmision and not have any problems with it. I want just to swap the engine with no problems. What the best engine for this type of swap? let me know...

if it is a 99si you already have a nice motor in there rebuild will be alot cheapper and will last you alot longer you have b16a2 dohc vtec motor rebuild it for 400bucks and be happy

alright thanks its a d16y8 motor.. its not a true si but looks like one.. wish i had the dohc vtec instead!!
