Default Block Guards:: some one shed some light

Ok i know its one of those topic which everyone says sleeve it.
well i know some bad things about block guards are they dont allow much cooling and expanison of stock sleeves.

SO whats your import on the race engineering block guard.

I has the little vents to provide more cooling that the conventional block guards. more cooling means the sleeve shouldnt be expanding to much. so is this block guard a bit safer than the others

The race engineering, as well as Golden Eagle block guards, are both great products... Sleevin will always be better, but for cars not looking to make enough power to require sleeving, a block guard is a great way, to increase the stability of stock sleeves... By limiting that movement in the upper cylinder, it helps to strengthen it where it is prone to crack, and it also takes away that stress in the mid to lower part of the cylinder as well....
