Automatic tranny doesnt shift right
it wont shift around 3000 when not pressing hard on the gas pedal. it goes really high (not in the red) and you would have to let off the gas for it to shift gears. Anybody Know what it is? I swapped the motor in the integra but swapped the transmision from the hydrolocked motor and it never had this problem, did I need to line something up when putting the transmission back on? Any help is appreciated thanks
i had the same problem before i converted my car from automatic to standard. i drove my car with it like that for over a year. i just let off the gas right before it would slip, and it would go into gear just fine. i either had to let off the gass right before the shift or hold the gas pedal down to redline for it to shift properly. honda automatic trannys suck, so i when i did my motor swap i also did an auto to manual conversion.

This is the internet. You're just supposed to talk up whatever you do know as if you're a salesman for it. i.e. I drive a Supra and a Corolla therefore 2JZ is the greatest and so is the 4A and I don't care about anything else because it's all crap since I don't have it. I also have a stack of $20 bills in front of me, therefore 20>50 and 20>100 and 20>1000. $20 bill FTW.
tighten the tranny shift cables, they are loose on the bracket on the auto tranny, known issue, causes sloppy shifts
