those are the numbers i will be looking for eventually with my n/a setup.... i had never heard of Endyn though. very impressive... but i have told my friends before that these numbers were attainable with an h22a if done properly and they didnt believe me. nice to finally have some proof.

This is a very unique motor. It is not easy or cheap at all to get those numbers. I'm sure the owner of this motor paid 12-15k for it.

I would like to know how that motor breaths through a 65 mm TB, Full exhaust and pump gas making those numbers. Why is it that every honda making big power on the motor needs individual TB's and race gas to get those numbers? For 290whp on the motor that torque is low. Torque is what gives you ET and a Prelude is going to need some torque to get moving.

The torque numbers are right on. HP=(rpm*torque)/5252. the numbers match up,at peak power the equation says torque should be 196 and it is right there on the graph. The thing with that motor is it carries torque high in the rpm band and doesn't drop off, this would show the VE of the head/manifolding is very good and well over 100%.

Now I don't believe everything that is claimed by Larry Widmer but the guy who did the dynoing is very much an independent third party who is very trustworthy.

When you start turning high rpms you need alot of fuel and air. Honda heads are known for flowing very well. I dont know of too many mustangs turning 8-10,000 rpms.

Anyways, that is impressive. That must be a hell of a tune with that compression on pump gas.
