wtf??help please?
ok i finally boosted my car...and everthing was going ok until a couple of days ago:
1) my car wont start sometimes...and when it does it sputters then starts to idle normally.
2)i'm hearing a tapping under the valve cover(what is that and is it easy to fix??)

ot oh....Who tuned it? anyone? what management are you running? Some more info on your setup would probably help the big time tech dudes! ...and uhh, I wouldn't boost it if i were you, Could be a piston/pistonring/cam, alot of things.....GL!

that is the new hotness you know you want my setup
anyway here it is there is no tuning yet but i was going to take it up to RR and have it tuned...right now i'm running the afc hack and 450 injectors trying to get uberdata thou... was boosting 8psi but got it down to 5psi just for the time being, hope that helps a little bit

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

i second chi town But after boosting you could have ALOT wrong if it was untuned and your start up issue is prolly your ignitor or ignition system your trying to boost and run an assload more fuel which requires heavy spark and your prolly cooking the ignition system. The tapping is prolly your valves

also you may have a blown piston ring... my setup used to make a taping/puttering sound and it was due to shitty compression.
