Default pwn3d by frame damage

well, after my hood flew up on I-4 at 95-100 mph and i hit the guy in front of me, my frame isnt too straight.. anyone in here used the "rope and tree" frame straightening method? if so, how well does it work, ive been using the "hammer and plyers" method and it worked a little, but not much... im sure it would cost moreto have my front end straightened than to just buy a whole new shell, so if so does anyone know where a clean crx si complete rolling shell is? gotta have clean paint/body, full/clean interior, no rust, cheap

also, since my shitty fuckin insurance company wont fix my front winshield, how hard would it be to get mine out, and how much would it cost for a new one to get put in? lmk guys, thanks!

I think it's only about $130-150 to get it replaced with a new one. Just look in the phone book.

if you really wanna know lol..

did it on my buddys civic that has some major rear end and front end damage, basically the rope has a crank thingy that tightends the rope and you crank it, just park the car, per say if you wanted to move out the fender or try to straigten it, park the car sideways next to the tree, and get one end of the rope around the tree and the other end onto the part you want to move outwards...the one he has, has a crank in the middle and 1 hook on each side of the rope, so we hook one side to the fender, and rapped the other end of the rope around the tree, and just started to crank away and it eventually moved...but you need a good hugable tree lol......

+1 ...no shit...that was my understanding too...and I think (I'm old now guys so gimme a break) the deductible thing does not apply to front glass. If they give you shit my next call would be to the insurance commisioner's office. I have made that call before. Tightens their ass right up (if they are in the wrong).
