gauge readouts
I just finished installing several gauges in my crx today and I want to know what the readings should be at or near.
its a jdm b16 xsi engine with obd1 upgrade, p28 ecu hondata s200b with p30 basemap, aem short ram, aem cam gears set to 0, 255lph walbro intank pump.
3 gauges are autotechnic and are , volt meter, oil temp and oil pressure.
2 gauges are autometer cobalt series and are fuel pressure and egt.
I know what the voltmeter should be at, but not sure on the others.
fuel pressure reads 38 at idle and 40-41 on throttle, oil temp reads 175, oil pressure is 40 at idle 80 on light throttle and 90 wot above 4.5k rpms and egt probe isn't inserted into the manifold, mainly cause it's stock and I didn't want to pull it just to tap it when the turbo is going on in the next 4 weeks or so.
thanks fo the info

What is your static fuel pressure set to in your Hondata chip? Everything sounds about right. Thats a lot of gauges....lol.
I don't remeber what YOU set it to. not sure if you said 35 or 40. and yes it seems a bit much but I'm sure I'll get used to the cockpit feel, I still have a wideband o2 ( aem gauge style) to mount on the dash. I don't have a pic small enough that fits onto tr ( I will get more though). the volt, oil psi and temp are on the pillar and the fuel pressure and egt are on the dash right above the a/c vent. the wideband will be cup mounted right next to those 2. and this doesn't include the blitz sbc id and powermeter that add all kinds of distracting stuff.
All you need now is autopilot

that's what its starting to feel like, but it all went in pretty clean and once I get it tuned the only thing that I might mess with while driving is to change from channel 1 to channel 2 on the blitz sbc currently set at 7psi and 10psi, the rest is just to make sure I have a heads up and get a front row seat when the motor blows
. I'll try to take a pic tonight and get it up by tomorrow just to show it off, and see if it looks like too much the way it is laid out. Oh and I did opt out of the monster tach and shift light, so hopefully that makes up for 1 or 2 of the gauges.
