any way i can get my code for my cd player w/out paying for it

i know on the rsx it was inside the glove box.. when you open the glove box look for a sticker on the side.. i think it was a 5 digit number.. or under the ashtray maybe... good luck

did you try googling 2001 prelude radio code.. theres lots of sites that show the location of the sticker.. being that new it should be somewhere

EDIT

found this on honda-tech

If its a 5th GEN then look under the top lip of the fuse box in the engine bay. You should see it there

take it to honda. well, remove the radio out of the car first, then take it to honda.

yah well im not gonna pay them for a code they should have given me when i bought the car used @ a honda dealership(wilde sun honda of sarasota)

if it is the radio that came with the car new the dealer can get it to you using the VIN. I have 2 Hondas I have done this with. If they don't want to help you out then remind them where you'll be spending your cash in the future...but I didn't have any problems.

According to brandon honda, the code should be free.. as long you pull the radio out. No tunes means no hoes. Remember that..hehe
