Ijust did a mini me swap, and i have a couple quesstions to ask. one, vtec dizzy for a vtec head is tec? or heitachi? second, do i have to have a p28 to hook up the vtec? i been told theres alot of ways to hookj up vtec with out the p28 like, using a tac, or a toggle switch, or maybe even a vtec controller. thx

 

the vtec dizzy should be a hitachi model, but actually and of the dizzys will or should i say CAN work, as far as a vtec control unit, you dont have to have a p28 but it is the best way, you can use a non vtec ecu and a vtec controller, i have even used the shift setting from a tachometer shift light, you can also use an MSD rpm activated window switch as well

 

if your gonna run the p28 get the obd1 dist. and convert it to obd1, if your gonna stay non obd then get a 88-91 civic,crx si/hf dist. and you got your choices of running pm6, pg7 ecu or even a pr3 from a b16, thats what im running only problem i got was a ks code which im trying to fix right now cause the block dosent come with one.....ive been threw the rpm switch thing and it was nothing but headaches...anyway good luck.

OBd0-1 conversion harness and OBD1 P28 ecu. Cleanest, correct timing and fuel maps and very straight forward. I have the harness and ecu in stock if you need it.
