b16 motor mount
ok I have been riding around with my motor at an angle. the passengers side higher than the drivers, and yes it has killed my axle. I have a few ideas to fix it but not sure. it is a 88 crx si with b16 swap, and after market motormounts, like hasport but diff company. the thing is I think the car was in an accident before I got it that caused the passenger side to come in and up approx 3/8 to 1/2 inch. I dont want to weld over the mount cup( the part that is part of the wheel well) and drill it higher, cause drilling would be a bitch. same thing if I redrilled holes on the bracket that bolts to the motor. so I don't know if I should get a custom bracket that will put that side of the engine 1/2 inch higher or what. it hasn't been a big deal cause the motor only has a few bolt ons, but I am starting to install the parts to the turbo kit that I have assembled and the turbo will make a big difference on the axles with the engine tilted.
