anything is possible...the only thing I know is making pass 300whp on a D-series is gonna be stupid expensive...and when I say stupid, I mean insane

Actually it'd be cheaper than with a B Series if you know what you're doing.

all of my cars have been DOHC Vtec. This is actually the cheapest one. I bought a d16y7 swap with 50k miles for 350. and whatever the turbo kit cost which is the same for a b series. fuel and engine management same as b series. I sold my b16 engine for 1k to pay for my swap as well as my sleeves, pistons, rods, block guard. Going SOHC saved me a great deal of money. Shit I still needed mounts an ls tranny and axles to make that shit work.
Did you get your ass handed to you by a SOHC and now you just hate them lol. I notice a lot of threads with you hating on the SOHC. You should try building one man, very cheap. Unless of course you have a car that comes with DOHC vtec engine.

i am by no means hating on the d-series. i respect those builds just as I would everywhere else. but there is a reason why they are not common builds....because the dollar to horsepower ratio is not as good as with a B series. only reason for that is because the aftermarket is bigger for the B than the D...but then again I guess you can counter that with how cheap the motors are in the first place

but yea when you get that shit built and putting down good power, you will receive my props on a job well done.
