Machine shop recomendations

im going to be rebuilding one of my LS engines within the next couple weeks and im trying to find the best place to take the block,crank, rods and pistsons to and possibly even the head just to get it cleaned.

looking for a local place that does good work for a good price in a timely maner.

i had my block redone by 3-D service off of howard. had block bored, glazed, head pressure tested, and head milled for just a little over $300

I'll throw in another vote for engine lab. A little more expensive than the others but machine work is not the place to pinch pennies at.

hey this one on starkey and ulmerton thats real close to me got any more info.

thx for the info fellas. i have heard some good things about engine labs also but not to sure where its at and kinda far from me.

yeah they are pretty good friends of mine they are located in a huge building behind the showgirls on that corner, they are a little pricey but they are the best of the best, and they do a hell of a job and pretty good time too heres there number 727-531-6421
