vtec problems

i have a 99 d16 y8 just had the vtec wired up car is idoling funny idolin low just want to know if that ecu is bad or the solenoid pls any one answer im running the m,otor with my y7 ecu

If you're using the Y7 ecu, you don't have vtec yet. Sounds like you wired something up wrong.

my bad i have p28 obd II and my stock y7 ecu i had the p28 installed and it was giving me problems im using my stock wiring harness itook the p28 out and replaced it with the old ecu

Check the IACV! Mine was idling funny because of this.

And if you have a 98 Hatch, you must have the conversion harness to run the P28. Did you already run your vtec wiring? Is the car throwing any codes?

nope no codes it was like i had no power with the clutch down it and you rev the engionge there were no probs but when you accelerate no power adn then it would pick up out of no where
