Question Full Race LS Intake Manifold Interest

I'm posting here to see if there is any local interest (?InsaneCivicSedan?) to get the LS intake manifold produced a little quicker. I will be sending my deposit Thursday or Friday of this week. They will be producing an LS intake manifold but there is more interest (as of right now) for B series VTEC applications.

As requested, here are some pictures of our prototype intake manifolds. We have had some setbacks, so sorry for the delay. We expect the full versions to be available within 6-8 weeks, if anyone needs some sooner, contact me, geoff@full-race.com
These intake manifolds will be fabricated completely of aluminum, with all internal volumes, runner lengths, pressure drops, and velocities accounted for. This manifold is not intended to be a race only piece, as power will increase from idle to redline. Pricing is expected to be ~899, but working to keep it low (hopefully 799). Provision for all factory IAC motors and IAT sensor will be included. Applications for B series, H series, and K series. Lifetime crack warranty, as usual. Can be modified to accept 4 more injectors, and direct port nitrous. Also, the B series manifold will fit BOTH b16/type R and b18c/GSR cylinder heads.

Ok. We need your input. We are in the process of trying to work out an option for the LS Intake Manifold. We need to see what kind of interest there is for this application. All those interested in a Intake Manifold for the LS/B20 please email Todd@Full-Race.com. Thanks for your help.

The runners are not *just* runners. Our runners are designed using true ASME inlet nozzles. These are not arbitrary numbers at the top of the runner. What we did was actually design the runner to get near 96% laminar flow. A standard runner with out a true asme nozzle has about 78% laminar. Also becuase of the cone (the degree of taper was also engineered per SAE spec for ideal taper) shape, velocity is maximized.

The spray angle is custom, we calculated it, and the throttle body hole will be 75mm, 3".

What kind of market is there for a nonvtec intake manifold of that nature ?

IMO, not as much as ITR/b16 applications....

It will be neat to see a finished product.

Id definitely be interested if I have the cash by the time they are released.... It needs more vacuum ports in the back for all of the accesories (bov, boost gauge, 3bar, fpr etc...) so I dont need the vacuum block gimmick....

You can have them add more vacuum ports before it ships out
