Default Damn this fucking suspension....

Down to the last damper and spring and it is just kicking and screaming to go on.

we have the rear lca almost completely disconnected from the car. we've got the damper lined up and bolted into place, now we need to get the LCA completely back onto the car and we're haing trouble with the lower bolt, turning and turning and turning and it's not catching on the threads. anyone, any ideas?

One iam sure of many methods are using a mallet to hit the head of the bolt into the first thread then applying some pressure with the rachet on the frist few turns tightening.

make sure the lca is totally lined up to where the head of the bot will match the hole and will catch threads. if youre having a hard time keeping the lca up there try using another jack to help position the lca right with the holes.

it is a great idea if its not too far off from starting to thread. have you ever lowered a car? i've lowered probably about 10-15 cars(5 of my own) and i've done that before.

the last time i lowered the accord i had to use an extra jack to get it to line up.

If you put some thought in on how that works, If your holes are lined up and the bolt doesn't exscatly go all the way to last one. Not a hard hit but using your judgement it get the bolt to the point were you can start tightning it with the rachet.

Its a method I have used and it has worked fine. Using the other arm to kinda move the lca around up or down while tightning. Just thought I would throw out a idea like he said. I know that the lca are a pain in the ass when your doing this stuff in your garage and air tools are not there.
