Default is this possible

has anyone ever swapped the internals of an obd1 dizzy say from a b18 non vtec into a b16 vtec obd0 casing? basically the footprint of the obd1 dizzy is totally fucked up, I hit the foot of the dizzy with the grinder but only 1 bolt hole will line up, so I was thinking I might swap the internals if its possible? just curious, if it's not then I'll just sell the obd0 and use the cash for the right dizzy.

Fucking caps lock!!!!!!

but to answer your question it is feasable to switch the internals of a obd0 non-vtec dizzy into the vtec casing. BUT, you shouldn't have a problem with only having 1 bolt hoding the LS dizzy. I did the same thing, and it didn't leak or have any problems.

I have heard the 1bolt thing works but it was made with three and I really didn't want to use just 2 but I am def not doing 1, I just don't like the idea personnally, now if the proper dizzy didn't exist anymore then ok but I was able to snag a vtec dizzy for like $80 not bad for a 00' gsr dizzy. thanks for the help though
