Default Throwing a code 8

i dont know jack shit about wiring and i am trying to figure out how to fix a code 8 on a jdm first gen b16a in a crx.....i knot its a TDC code but honestly i have know idea what that is.....thanks for any help in advance

Its a Top Dead center sensor, Its in the distributor. Time to get a new distrbutor.

well i just swapped my motor out of my crx to one with a clean title and its giving me this code......it worked fine in my car......could there be something wired wrong????

Yeah sounds like the TDC wires are backwards.

which wires are they? also do i just need to switch them around?

I thought a code 9 meant that the TDC sensor wasn't wired right? My CRX, Throws a code 9 because the copper wire thats supposed to be around the TDC sensor came apart.

I could be wrong, But I suggested checking the distributor for copper wire wrapped around the shaft. Might aswell check the wiring on that aswell.

ok well i fixed the problem....it was a wire that came loose at the ecu.....but now while the car i have car running and the door open and the ebrake on the dash lights like flicker along with the clock......also i have a two prong sensor and a one prong sensor on the back of my block and im not sure what color wires go to which sensor.....
