any b series vtec piston will work, just depends on what kind of compression youre looking for

youll have to clay the motor to be sure. CTR pistons will only yield around 11.4:1 so youll either have to mill the head or use a thinner headgasket if u wish to stay with oem pistons. if not look for a aftermarket piston with over a 10cc dome

so ill probably use ctr or itr pistons and there should be no problem with them on a dyno when they advance/retard my timming with JUN SRAGE 3S.

The CTR's have a larger compression height (distance from crown to wrist pin center) so they sit up alot higher than all other OEM pistons. Compression wise they are what you want but the motor would need to be clay checked to know what kind of adjustments and clearances you have.

dosn't a b17a block have a taller deck height than a b16a? if he uses the b17a crank & rods in a b16a block the pistons would sit higher in the block maybe sticking out at TDC. (because of the longer stroke)So the stock pistons would be a higher compression. if they fit without popping out the top. would this even work?
