obd1 swap
ok I will be installing the obd 1 parts onto my crx in the next week or 2. and I need to know if the dizzy has a gasket type seal or an o-ring. and where is the best place to get it. also the valve cover gasket. I will be setting the timing to stock ( aem gears ) and leaving it so that the hondata can do its thing. thanks
VC gasket get from the dealer for a 99-00 SI or whatever dealer you have near you. The dizzy has the o-ring on it. OEM all the way. Hondata do its thing on the cam timing?
the hondata adjust timing for advance or retard based on the mapping ( if I read the manuals correctly ) so I don't think it would be wise to run the aem adjustable cam gears, set to anything but 0. since the gears would be a few degrees off what the ecu thinks it is. I am in riverview so brandon honda will be it, and does the o-ring on the dizzy need to be replaced whenever you remove it ( like most gaskets ) or is it good to go as long as it looks in good shape? thanks
