Default del sol turbo kit

Hey guys. I have some ?'s on honda turbo kits.... What are the different turbo kits that would work with a 93 del sol si? About what would this cost? How would you go about tuning it or rebuilding for the safest use and drivabilty. Daily driver. If u cant tell , i'm not real into hondas- this is my sisters car I am talking about. Thanks

greddy makes a nice kit, pretty affordable than most, and comes with pretty much everything you need besides dyno time and a good tuner

It just runs a more radical profile for better flow at high rpms. simply if you could take the cam out of your z and swap it to say a stage 2 or 3 at a set rpm while the motor was running, you would have the same effect. the low rpm profile just makes better economy and a smoother idle at low rpms.

vtec good : boost good boosted vtec

all motor, NO. as a daily driver and to get the same power a turbo would give all motor would have more intense tuning than a 8psi turbo, compression would be so high you would be too close to not being able to run on pump gas ( you could still do it but it'd be dangerous). and the tight tolerances on everything would be a headache and you'd almost have to pay someone else to do the work. whereas a turbo can be installed by alot more of the d.i.y. types and without the special tools needed for all motor. for what you are shooting for a good turbo kit like the greddy, and 8psi will do just fine on pump gas and add 60 to 80hp.
