turn the car to the on position and hold.... it goes off at set mileage to get you to bring it to the dealer so they can make money

If you have an Integra.....the milage thing will not turn it off. There's a button underneath the edge of the plastic dash piece, should be to the right of your steering column. Reach under with your hand and find it.....then start the car, and press/hold down the button until the light goes off.....problem fixed. Guy at the Acura dealer told me how to do it, so I wouldnt have to go back everytime it came on. Sometimes it would take me a couple times to get it to go off, so you might have to try more than once.
