i would use a b17 gsr head if you can get one if not maybe a 1st gen b16 head or shit any had

you going to use stock internals or some forged goodness.

the factory bottom end will hold 280+whp without any issues as long as it has a good tune of course. any b series head will do the trick, id personally go with a type r head if i had the money if not id just get a b16 and throw in a set of ITR or GSR cams with a good titanium valvetrain and free-flowing manifold.

if youre putting forged internals in it and are only looking to make moderate power id go with a set of eagle rods and pretty much any forged piston will work(CP, JE, wiseco, arias, etc) just do some research and see which one you feel most comfortable using.

the factory b series cranks will hold 700+whp without any issues so i wouldnt worry about that.

the rods will cost ~$300
and the pistons about ~$500 w/ rings
dont forget youll need new bearings too

thanx for the info........so its safe to use the stock bottom end as long as i dont boost the hell out of it......also i have an itr intake manifold. will that match up to a gsr head or a b16 head

I have a B20a crank for sale, which would make a healthy improvement...that is if your gonna buy rods and pistons.
