Default no vtec no speedometer

I just put a gsr tranny on my b16 cuz i blew the dif on the 16.The whole speed sensor on the tranny blew clean off the housing wit a see through hole in my tranny. I swapped the tranny and plugged everything back up and went for a test drive. For some reason my speedometer wasnt workin and vtec wouldnt hit, but when vtec did hit (which for some reason not at 5800 where it should be) my speedometer would work. Like once or twice everything worked perfect. Now my speedo doesnt work at all and neither does vtec. I pulled the clip that connects to the solenoid, and the white piece inside the connecter fell out, I tried pluggin it back in, it would slide but there would be no click noise like it used to make.

Any advice on how to solve this problem??

Thanks

get a new plug/sensor(whichever is broken). vtec relies on several sensors to engage correctly, the VSS is one of them

the speed sensor on the tranny is most likely bad, vtec wont pop if it doesnt detect a speed ,because you have do be rolling for vtec to hit and if the sensor isnt working the ecu thinks the car is still

r u sure it aint the sensor on my harness cuz when my dif blew on the 16 it blew it clean off so maybe it could of zapped it or damaged it cuz the gsr tranny i got is clean
