Default Advanced timing ?

Im need to replace my timing belt pretty soon in my 1991 Integra. How much can I advance the timing on a stock motor without a risk of possibly damaging it ?

Thanks David

16 Degress. I would leave it were its at. Should be 16 I think the factory setting. About in the middle.

I know on a B series you can advance it to 18 depending on your setup but I don't know if its the same with a d series

bump anyways

You won't see much power by advancing the timing on your motor when it doesnt have any special mods.

Just follow the timing guide on c-speedracingonline.com & set your timing to 16 deg, especially if you plan on running shitty gas.

By the way, you shouldnt have to touch your distributor timing when you change your timing belt....

Your cam timing is not really adjustable w/ oem camgears. You could skip a gear on your intake cam to advannce it etc, but I dont recommend it.

Just set everything to the specs in the manual & you will be happy
