I used my A6 headbolts but I used a Cometic headgasket to lower my compression from the mill and deck that was done on the head and block and the zc pistons that we used.

mini-me is making me very happy. hope you enjoy yours.

what are you using to set off the vtec? i used a msd ignition switch with 4,000 series pills instead of going obd1.

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

I used the Z6 gasket to keep compression in check (it's .02 thicker
than the Y and used the Z6 head studs. Reason is the z6 and Y8 set up is just a tad taller than a stock A6 motor.
You can use the A6 head studs (new only!), but to be on the safe side, stick with the longer head studs!
Don't forget to adj your timing!!!
