I finally got the install kit for my new walbro pump & put her in. When I was re-installing the gas tank I couldnt hook the front lip of the tank onto the little tab that sticks out for it (impossible doing this in your driveway with floor jacks). Sooo I just strapped it up . . . . . . anyone think this will matter, can the straps alone hold a a gas tank up safely?

 

what kinda car i know on my crx and integra straps are all the holds it up .

89 civic hatch has a small hanger type lip that the front of the tank hooks to before its strapped up. . . . after about an hour of tryin to hook it I gave up.
