Default gsr intake mani

I have a b16 and have a sweet deal for a gsr intake mani. I am going to be boosting the engine, but need to know if the gsr mani will bolt up without clearence issues in a crx. also if anyone knows but I was told before the stock mani on the b16 sucks and either a skunk2 or gsr mani would give me the same performance gains, if so let me know. also will the b16 tb work on the gsr mani, what other things should I be aware of? thanks for the help

uhhhh, thats kinda backwards. b16 mani's rock, gs-r's ar more restrictive. skunk2 is better than both. keep the b16 or get a skunk2.

really? I had been told the b16 was more restictive and that the farthest runner got either too much air or not enough (can't remember which ). does ot make a diff between the jdm mani and us mani on the b16? thanks

not sure on the usdm vs jdm, but i know the gs-r has two butterflies for that two stage vtec they have. if you're worried about restriction, don't go with the gs-r or the b16, get a skunk2 which has a much lager plenum and runners than stock.

your the 2nd person that says the gsr sucks. I will wait for a good deal on a skunk2 then before I waste the time swapping from stock. do you know about the gsr cams are they good or trash, eventually I will run a complete headpackage from skunk2 or someone else if I find out skunk2 heads and valvetrain suck by the time i have the cash for it. thanks for the info

gs-r cams go great with boost. as far as valvetain goes, i would try to keep it as OEM as possible, ITR valve springs would be the most i would do.

Kick that guy in the nuts. For starters you will have to re-drill the holes to make it bolt up to your B16a head. Then how are you going to control the secondaries? Just get a Skunk2 manifold or ITR.

For the money go with an AEBS intake manifold for b16/ITR heads for MSRP of $150.

It supposedly out performs ITR & Skunk2 manifolds & it costs a lot less, the quality is very good too...

yeah you might as well buy an ITR because the gsr won't bolt up
