yes, it bolts directly in... you can get a b18 cheaper then a b16 but you wont have vtec. the b 16 is more of a high revving motor.. the b18 has more torque. the are both good motors. you just need to pick what you want. i like the b16s cause i am rev happy.

hope this helps

it depends on which b18, there are the b18a's which are ls non vtec and from what I have heard are fairly cheap but without building one you won't be happy with the power. I think the b18 your thinking of that is expensive is the b18c5 an if I'm correct that is the gsr motor. go with the b16 on bang for buck, and it has just as much potential as the b18's.

Since the car comes with a non vtec b-series motor youll be alright for mounting it in on whats already in the car.b18a1 comes in that car stock and would probably be your best bet to install.b18b1 is the newer version of the same motor with more power, both fairly cheap motors.all the vtec motors that are b series will also be bolt in,but will take some small mods to get them to work properly.wiring,ecu,etc.vtec motors are more expensive but have more hp,non vtec motors dont rev as high but have more torque.non-vtec blocks can be used with vtec heads...but thats a whole nother story lol
