Default Dumb Header Bolt

Well just my luck I let one of my friends help me out with my car and he screws up. He cross threaded one of the bolts that holds on my DC Sports Header. As if things couldn't get worse they did. Instead of him bringing the whole thing to my attention he just tried to take it back out and the head of the bolt snapped off. Now how the hell am I supposed to get the Stud part of the bolt out of my head? Anyone with advise please post up. I have a feeling this is going to be a pain in the ass.

you could try to get a drill tap and tap that stud... then try to pull it out with another bolt in it????

a drill and an ez out, you drill a hole in the end of the stud that is smaller than the threads of the ez out, then you screw in the ez out ( it is reverse threaded ) so when it starts to tighten down it is turning the stud counterclockwise. once the stud is out the final step is to give you friend a head stud suppository

Funny...I work at Home Depot so I'll check there tommorrow. If that doesn't work then I might have to take the drilling route...thanks fellas.

use an easyout or an extractor bit. i had to go the same route when a buddy of mine over torqued one of my valve cover bolts on my del sol :shutters: , just be really careful with it so you don't have it messed up anymore...
