Default D16Z6 header swap help

I swapped OEM exhaust manifold for a DC header and now the check engine light is on. Also, the idle is low (400-500rpm) but if I sit parked for a while it returns to the normal 700rpm while lightly fluctuating as the AC switches on and off. Is this a compression problem? An O2 sensor problem? (When I extended the O2 sensor cable I used a soldering iron to ensure a good connection.) Furthermore, I noticed that the rounded contact surface of the DC header might have been a little larger than the concave fitting on the catalitic converter end. Possible? WTF should I do?

did you check to make sure you didnt damage anyof the O2 wires or short anyof them out cause that will make the light come on

take two of the nuggets and shove them up your ass............
If the solder wasnt perfect then light is going to come on, the o2 reads by electrical current. So if the current is slowed down for any (due to shitty McGyver work on the soldering) reason then the CEL is going to come on.

Default nuggets....right

I made big nuggets. I'll try it again. But fuck the light, I just want it to idle correct.

make sure your O2 sensor wires are ok,
also, what code are you throwing? it makes it easier to tell ya what's wrong
