I used to have a mitsu truck, one time the front blinkers started going really fast when switched on, after replacing them, problem was gone. Hopefully that fixes you, that would suck to have to go to Acura to find the short $$$.

i think they start to blink really fast right before they go out. Replace them and see if that works out for you.
