Default Walbro pump good?

My Venom pump is taking a dump. So I just bought a Walbro 255lph-HP fuel pump and the install kit for an 89 civic. Just wondering if anyone has any comments/suggestions on the product or install. . . . thanx

I have one in my car and have yet to have any problems... Only thing anyone notices is the sound.... You can hear it pretty clearly, but after a while you get used to it and dont even notice anymore, and with a seat over it, its virtually un-noticeable.... Works great though!!!

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

Great pump for the money ($80.00 - $100.00 depending on the pump). It has been proven to flow enough for high hp numbers.

the pump is smaller and sits in the cradle higher and therefore the original line running into the tank does not go down as low. so the line should be extended. i am on E at 1/4 of a tank now
