im getting a code 16 (fuel injectors) but ive checked all the wiring and its getting power to all the wires but for some reason its not leting one injector clip run that injector


the car is running on 3 injectors and if i change the clip from a working one to the injector thats not working it works but not all 4 at the same time

The car had no problems untill last weekend i pulled the carpet and cleaned up a couple things installed the carpet back and started the car and got the code

But i checked to see if their are anything loose but i see nothing what else can i check for the code 16

btw its a 91 hatch with a 96 d16y7

yes it was a dx converted to mpfi the injector on the drive side closest to the wheel

Injector #1. Go back and look at the wiring A1, A3, A5, A7 for your injectors.

yea i did that and the injector that is giving me a problem is not getting power from the ecu i checked right at the ecu for power and nothing

so i jumped the wire from the 1 of the other injectors and the plug gets power and when i plugged it up the injector was clicking really loud

I no the injectors will click but this didnt happen befor

What other things will make me throw a code 16?

i dont no why the ecu is not giving the power to the #1 injector

What could cause it? Bad ground?

It was running great before i changed the carpet out and had to take out the ecu
