well i have the 86 hhonda accord. ive posted before and somen told me to keep it in the same thread but i dont know how lol but neway it runs weird and boggs down at random times like its running on 3 cylinders and like five minutes after strting the car the PGM-FI light comes on and i jus cant seem to figure out what is wrong or what to check ive checked injectors, pump, filters and pressure regulator. im clueless

 

under the driver seat is where the ecu (computer) for the engine.
slide the seat all the way forward and look under the seat from the back. there is a cover over the ecu and at the back is a small square tab that can be flipped down. flip it down at turn the car on...watch in that little window and you should see a red light flashing. it will flash a certain number of times the stop for a second and then flash the same number of times again. count the number of flashes...at report back to this thread...go all the way to the bottom of the page where it says "QUICK REPLY" ....don't post "new topic"

then maybe we can help you. if this is too tough to understand then you probably shouldn't try fixing the problem anyways

 

alright yes i know what ur talking bout im not a complete idiot although i didnt know how to stay on the same thread i know what the ecu is and i know about the indicator light i checked it once cuz i got some info online that told what the flashes meant but if i recall right it flashed 11 times and they didnt have nething listed for that so please dont think im a complete idiot cuz i didnt know how to post in the same thread lol but thanx for ur help and tell me what else u got on the number of flashes. thanx alot
