Default How fast do lowered cars kill axles?

Basically every once in a while in the ark while I am stopped. if I turn the wheel for a hard turn and then slowly accelerate, i sometimes get 1 click from the front of the car.. I'm guessing my axles are slowly hating being lowered so much...

Ideas?

Yeah my friend had a 90 CRX Si, that blew axles after every u-turn. Just raise the car up, or have your axles Lengthened.

lowering the car wont make a diffrence on the axle's unless you drop it way to far you can have wheel tuck and be ok but if you are trying to get you fender to cover you center cap's you might have a problem....LOL but ya the click, click noise.....time to get abother axle but they are only like $50 or so at any auto parts store for a reman.

if it is lowered too far you will start to have axle binding issues most of the time it is with swapped cars and not so much stockers. but nevertheless yo can manage it with stock axles. you can either raise it up a bit or get a camber kit to bring the top of the wheel out a bit. works wonders

Well the biggest problem was when I bought the car from John he didnt have the wrenches for the H&R's...

After a many months search ive FINALLY found a set that someone will sell me (EVERYONE wanted to sell me the whole coilover kit!!WTF!!).

So I can FINALLY raise it by an inch... I just hope that the axles arent fucked already.. GOnna have taylor look at it later this week or next
