running like shit really aggrivating seems like it runs worse when it rains. last post>>


have an 1986 honda accord lxi. the problem is sometimes when im going usually in 4th or 5th gear it boggs down feels and sounds like its running on 3 cylinders but ive replaced the injectors a couple times (they were used but the problem persisted the same) i also replaced the fuel pressure regulator and it did the same thing i replaced the fuel filter hoping that would be it and i also replaced the sock filter on the fuel pump and im now clueless as to what the problem is someone told me it might be the o2 sensor but it doesnt seem to me like it would do that. please help me out. thanx

 

check your dizzy see if the rotor is low

 

Could be the o2 sensor, but that would most likely throw a CEL.... Do you have any CEL's??? If so, do you know which ones??? Have you ever changed your ignition coil??? Are your cap and rotor, as well as all wires new, or at least in good condition??? What kind of plugs are you using and how new/old are they???? What kind of gas do you use in your car???
