Default power locks problem

my buddy has a 2000 civic hatchback. had no power locks so he bought the locks and put em in. that was no problem. but when he got to the part where he needs to hook up the alarm to the switch relays and the relays to the locks , he ran into a problem. he cant seem to do that. anyone know how?

Did he buy the factory locks or just the accuators?

If he got just accuators, it will depend on the accuators (2 wire or 5 wire) and the alarm setup. Some alarms (like me eBay special) dont need relays, they already have them.

Give me some more info and Ill see if I can help ya out.

Already did this with my DX.

Chris

http://www.the12volt.com/doorlocks/page3.asp

This site should help with wiring diagrams.
He'll probably use the first diagram on that page (its how I tried to hook mine up before I realized I didnt need the relays).

Any ?'s just ask, I'll do my best.
